Elmhurst School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged 3 - 11 located in South Croydon.

Elmhurst is part of Bellevue Education. Bellevue Education is committed to excellence in education and pupils are encouraged to aim high, and are provided with everything they need to succeed.

Elmhurst is the successor to two schools both founded in 1869. Elmhurst is a diverse, welcoming community who work together to nurture the brilliance in each pupil. The oldest prep school in Croydon, we have a proud history of preparing children for 11+ and scholarships to selective schools (both independent and state).

Elmhurst is part of the Bellevue family of schools and enjoys opportunities as a result that benefit pupils and staff alike.

Elmhurst School has four school houses: Scott (blue), Peachell (green), Squire (yellow) and Anderson (red). The names of the houses are the surnames of past owners of the school.
